The Big Red footprint in New York City


 

Across New York City’s five boroughs, Cornell research, outreach and academic programs deliver a major impact.

Nutrition education programs are offered to more than 40,000 New Yorkers each year through Cornell University Cooperative Extension-New York City; 2.7 million New Yorkers interact with Weill Cornell Medicine; more than 30 companies have been founded, attracting $15 million in investments, since the opening of Cornell Tech in 2013.

A new interactive infographic, Impacting NYC, demonstrates the Big Red footprint in such areas as urban farming, sustainability, entrepreneurship and startup activity, and medical research and care.
