ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell University Board of Trustees will have its regular Commencement Week meeting in Ithaca, May 24-25, 2019, with some sessions open to the public.

The full board will meet from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 24, in Lecture Hall No. 4 at the College of Veterinary Medicine.The first 30 minutes will be open to the public, and will include reports from President Martha Pollack, Employee Assembly Chair Craig Wiggers, and Dean of Faculty Charles Van Loan.

In addition to the meeting of the full board, the following board committees with open sessions will meet on Friday, May 24:
 

  • The Buildings and Property Committee will meet at 10:30 a.m. in the Carrier Ballroom at the Statler Hotel. An open session at the start of the meeting will include the approval of the Contract Colleges status report.
  • The Committee on University Relations will meet at 11:45 a.m. in the Yale/Princeton room at the Statler Hotel. An open session at the start of the meeting will include a report from Associate Director for State Government Relations Zoe Nelson.


A limited number of tickets for the public to the open session of the full board meeting on Friday will be available at 300 CCC Building.
