Two human resource offices are relocating to Community Corners on Hanshaw Road.

The Medical Leaves Administration (MLA) moved from Surge 3 earlier this week. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will be at Community Corners effective July 1; after that, they will no longer be available at the EAP office in Collegetown. Staff, faculty, retirees and their families will be able to contact the EAP either through a new phone number or through the current EAP phone number, 255-1531, which will remain in use for several months with automatic rollover.

"Our new office space will have the advantage not only of confidentiality but also of accessibility: Parking there is easy and free," said Linda Starr, manager of the EAP. "Two bus routes run by Community Corners during the day, Route 30 and Route 32." EAP may be contacted at their current office at 409 College Ave., at (607) 255-1531 throughout June.

MLA administers Cornell's long- and short-term disability programs and Workers' Compensation. Also moving with them was the Gallagher Bassett office (endowed workers' compensation vendor), who had also been in Surge 3. New numbers for MLA and Gallagher Bassett are listed below, but the old ones will remain operative, with automatic rollover for several months.
