Tell us a story, Santa!

The Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art held its annual community holiday celebration Sunday, Dec. 7.

Santa Claus (embodied by museum director Frank Robinson) arrived just in time to read "The Night Before Christmas" and listen to children's wishes. The afternoon event also featured performances by the Cayuga Vocal Ensemble, Fingerlakes Flutes, VOICES Multicultural Chorus and Cayuga Brass Quintet.

More than 450 people were on hand to make their own holiday prints and enjoy cookies and other treats. Donations of nonperishable foods and personal care items were collected to benefit Ithaca Kitchen Cupboard.
