On Monday, June 27, Gannett Health Services will open its new addition, with a temporary main entrance on Campus Road. For the coming year, services will be provided in the new facility while the original 60-year-old building undergoes renovation.

Gannett will continue to provide the same services, number of appointments and level of care, said Dr. Kent W. Bullis, interim executive director of Gannett Health Services.

“We are excited about the transformation of Cornell’s health facility, thanks to the vision of our campus leaders, the generosity of donors and campus partners, the designs of our architects, and the labors of so many,” Bullis said. “This move will allow us to improve our delivery of high-quality, integrated care and to address the evolving health needs of our campus community.”

Construction of the new addition began in April 2015, and the updated and expanded facility will open in its entirety in summer 2017 under the new name “Cornell Health.”

“The coming year will be one of transition,” Bullis said. “We recognize that the ongoing construction on our facility and the temporary locations of some of our services may be inconvenient or challenging for some of our patients and clients. We encourage all visitors to share their feedback with us about how we can improve our services, or they can contact a patient advocate with questions or concerns.”
