Computing and Information Science will be well represented Sept. 20-23 at the ACM Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing in Atlanta.

CIS is sending 29 students all-expenses-paid to the event, which promotes diversity in computing. The conference brings together undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, researchers and professionals.

“I am looking forward to attending a Microsoft Workshop on the field of big data, exploring different technology companies and further expanding my network,” said Cornell freshman Bryan Scanapieco.

CIS and Cornell Tech are among the event’s sponsors.
