Podcast focuses on Cornell faculty members

MBA students at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management have created a podcast called Present Value.

“The goal of the podcast is simple: to share Cornell's ideas and insights with the world. Or, to share Cornell's intellectual capital with the world,” said first-year MBA student Michael Brady.

New episodes are released monthly and have featured faculty members Robert Frank, Risa Mish, Tom Gilovich and Robert Hockett.

“The podcast has a business slant but it really isn't business focused,” Brady said. “Our audience is the generally educated and curious listener who appreciates long-form, NPR-style podcasts. Also, 'Present Value' is 90 percent professor and 10 percent host, so it is really all about the prof. We're working on getting more guests from around the university.”
