Artists Paul Richmond and Melissa Forman of the You Will Rise Project visited Cornell’s West Campus House System Oct. 3-9. You Will Rise is an anti-bullying initiative that empowers those who have been affected by bullying to speak out through the arts. Richmond and Forman led two art workshops for West Campus residents and facilitated training sessions to help West Campus graduate resident fellows and student assistants support students affected by bullying. They also installed a massive art work (above) titled “Labeled” in the Flora Rose House Dining Room to raise awareness about impact of bullying.
