Apply now for Kheel Center undergraduate research award

The deadline is May 1 for students to apply for a Kheel Center Undergraduate Research Award, provided to undergraduates pursuing original research or creative projects under the general guidance of a faculty member.

The winner will receive a prize of $500.

Applicants must be undergraduates registered in coursework at any level, in any discipline, at the time they prepare the project. To be eligible, projects must be based on the archival collections held at the Kheel Center for Labor-Management Documentation & Archives, or other archival repositories of Cornell University Library. The projects must have been carried out for an undergraduate credit course during the last two academic years (2018-19 and 2019-20).

The winner, who will be announced May 8, is invited to attend the Kheel Center Best Undergraduate Research Project Award ceremony later in May.

The Kheel Center in Catherwood Library is the archival arm of the ILR School. For more information or to apply, visit the award website.
