Twenty-two architecture and urban design professionals from China took part in the College of Architecture, Art and Planning’s first international executive education program.
The Nov. 28 Red Hot Hockey game at Madison Square Garden featured an on-ice appearance by Cornell President Elizabeth Garrett, an Olympic medalist and a marriage proposal before ending in a 3-3 tie.
Events on campus include exhibition hockey at Lynah Rink, free summer concerts, viewing at Fuertes Observatory and an artist reception at Cornell Plantations.

Dr. David J. Skorton, president of Cornell, has been appointed to the Association of American Medical Colleges as an at-large member of its 2010-11 board of directors for a two-year term.
ILR School Dean Harry Katz and Professor Rose Batt were named Scholar Fellows Jan. 7 by the Labor and Employment Relations Association. Another ILR faculty member and two alumni were also honored. (Jan. 10, 2012)
More than 30 Human Ecology students, staff and faculty have signed on to become Green Ambassadors who will lead a peer-to-peer campaign to conserve campus resources and promote a culture of sustainability across the college.
