Cornell University will host a symposium Sept. 8-9 focusing on land-grant university research and outreach to help communities prepare for natural and man-made biohazards. The symposium, "Role and Responsibilities of the Land Grant System in Building Community Strengths to Address Biohazards."
The decision, which is effective immediately and is for a period of no less than five years, is a result of information provided regarding the Feb. 25 death of student George Desdunes. (March 18, 2011)
