For the eighth year, Cornell University has been recognized for its employee adoption benefits by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, moving into first place among education institutions and tying for 71st place overall.
To demonstrate that by using creativity all employees can participate in Cornell's opportunities, Angela Winfield, director of Inclusion and Workforce Diversity, scaled the wall at the new Lindseth Climbing Center.
The annual Cornellians Aiding and Responding to Emergencies (CARE) Fund online auction raised $8,000 in November. Gifts to the fund are accepted year-round. (Dec. 3, 2012)

About 3,100 Cornell employees, retirees and their families enjoyed barbeque chicken and pasta in Barton Hall after cheering on Big Red football at Schoellkopf Field and women’s and youth soccer at Berman Field.
