Sethuraman says:

While much of what is expected in the upcoming earnings report is likely already reflected in current stock price, investors would benefit more by paying close attention to qualitative ‘soft’ information that managers share through forward-looking statements in press releases, conference calls, and quarterly SEC filings following the earnings announcement.

“For a firm such as Coinbase that has just gone IPO in the newly unleashed and poorly understood crypto-economic space, the devil is in the details as the past may not be particularly indicative of the future.”
