Outside of the token skate park, the diverse needs of New York state teens are often ignored when planners design public spaces. A new collaboration between a College of Human Ecology professor and Cornell Cooperative Extension seeks to put an end to that.
Students from Cornell, Binghamton and Stony Brook universities came together to celebrate the contributions they made to improve local, regional and international communities during a showcase event on April 19 in the College of Human Ecology’s Commons.
Staff, faculty, and visiting students can explore new interests, enhance their resumes or strengthen their professional skills through the Fall Part-Time Study program provided by Cornell’s School of Continuing Education (SCE). Registration is now open for the next academic semester, which runs Aug. 21 – Dec. 16, 2023.
