To celebrate Cornell’s commitment to fostering global literacy and cross-cultural understanding, the Language Resource Center in the College of Arts and Sciences will host World Languages Day on Oct. 26.

Political scientist Peter Enns – who correctly predicted the winner in 49 states 100 days before the 2020 U.S. presidential election – will offer insights on political forecasting and his current forecast of the 2024 election in an eCornell keynote address on Oct. 1 at 2:30 p.m.
The study found detectable levels of contaminants, including some that may increase cancer risk, in every bird sampled across four states and nine ecological regions.
