The four faculty teams that received funding support through the President’s Visioning Committee on Cornell in New York City have conducted cross-campus workshops, hosted interdisciplinary talks and expanded their outreach.

Political cartoonist Pedro X. Molina fled his country in 2018 as the government came down hard on critics, killing more than 300 people and imprisoning hundreds more, including many journalists. Molina is now an Artist Protection Fund fellow in residence and visiting critic at Cornell.

Max the rough collie is still spry at age 10, but last May his exuberance led him to the emergency room at the Cornell University Hospital for Animals. Thanks to veterinarians, Max has become an example of what rehabilitation therapy can do for an injured pet of his age.
