Cornell trustees approve Cornell statutory tuition rates for 2000-01

The Cornell University Board of Trustees, at its regular meeting March 10, approved the following tuition rates for the New York state statutory colleges for 2000-01:
- Undergraduate resident, $10,830, up 4.8 percent.
- Undergraduate nonresident, $20,900, up 5 percent.
- Graduate (nonveterinary), $12,700, up 5 percent.
- Graduate (master of professional studies program, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences), $20,900, up 5 percent.
- Graduate (master of professional studies program, School of Industrial and Labor Relations), $19,900, unchanged.
- DVM resident, $15,400, up 3.4 percent.
- DVM (nonresident), $21,100, up 5 percent.
- Graduate (veterinary), $13,000, up 4.9 percent.
The board also approved the following tuition rates for the Cornell Law School for 2000-01:
- For continuing law students, $26,800, up 5.1 percent.
- For entering law students, $27,300, up 7.06 percent.
In January the board approved a tuition increase of 4.2 percent for undergraduate students in the endowed colleges, which set tuition at $24,760 for the 2000-01 academic year.
