JR Keller, associate professor of human resource studies, will offer experienced professionals the strategies they need to adapt, advance and thrive in today’s evolving job market in an eCornell Keynote on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m.
The new initiative will support finance and insurance innovations that provide producers and agribusinesses with science-based strategies that strengthen soil health, improve water use efficiency, and build farmer resiliency to extreme weather events.
The panel, “AI + Education: Teaching and Learning in the Age of AI,” held during the 75th Trustee-Council Annual Meeting, painted a complete picture of the state of AI in education at Cornell.
A project led by Cornell’s Center for Point of Care Technologies for Nutrition, Infection and Cancer to develop a low-cost, battery-powered device for sample preparation in tuberculosis (TB) testing in areas with limited lab access and infrastructure, has received a $250,000 grant from the Gates Foundation.
The unrestricted fellowship funds enables Oliva and the 19 other fellows named this year to “test novel ideas and lead research that drives real-world impact.”
