Healthy Relationships, an initiative to raise awareness of how to best promote positive relationships launched this fall with candy and positive quotes in Cornell’s North Campus and Collegetown residential communities.
In the Liberty Hyde Bailey Lecture, held June 10 as part of Reunion Weekend at Call Auditorium, faculty members Greg Martin, Jim Giovannoni and Susan McCouch, Ph.D. ’90 celebrated their mentor, Cornell Professor Emeritus Steve Tanksley.
Events this week include the 2018 CCA Biennial; a celebration of Finger Lakes cider on campus; exiled writer Kanchana Ugbabe; '70s political satires and Czech puppet films at Cornell Cinema; and book talks on social media and Indian migration.
On Sept. 21-22, more than 12,000 alumni, parents, faculty, staff and students members enjoyed Homecoming traditions, including the Big Red Fan Festival.
Last weekend, 48 Chinese high school students from arrived for this year's six-week Cornell China College Preparatory Program, which is part of Cornell's Summer College.

Cornell’s David R. Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future has given $1.2 million from its Academic Venture Fund to 11 new university projects from 37 proposals.
