Cornell Cares Day – a worldwide student-alumni service event held each January that connects Cornellians to serve their local communities through direct, hands-on service projects – united alumni and students in more than 30 cities in a day of service.
The museum will celebrate groundbreaking for its $20 million, 16,000-square-foot addition May 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. The free public event also recognizes the museum's 35th anniversary. (May 5, 2008)
