James (Jim) D. Hazzard, director emeritus of alumni affairs at Cornell, died Aug. 11 at his home in Ithaca; he was 84. A memorial service is slated for Oct. 2, 1 p.m., in Sage Chapel. (Sept. 2, 2011)
