A consortium of 50 university researchers, including from Cornell Engineering, has established five grand challenges in biomedical engineering, which it said will lay the foundation for a concerted effort to achieve technological and medical breakthroughs.

For the first time, Honey Bees: Their Intriguing Biology and Interactions with Humans (ENTOM 2030) will be offered during Summer Session 2023.This online course, taught by Dr. Marina Caillaud, a lecturer in the Department of Entomology, will examine the lives of bees, their contribution to humanity through the ages, as well as the threats they are currently facing.
Now in its fourth year, the Tenants Advocacy Practicum at Cornell Law School continues to expand its impact as it works to bridge the housing justice gap in Ithaca and the surrounding counties. The practicum recently achieved a new milestone by recovering more than $100,000 for local tenants over the course of a year for the first time.

Thirteen Cornell faculty members have received Community-Engaged Practice and Innovation Awards from the Einhorn Center for Community Engagement. The awards recognize faculty who have recently developed community-engaged learning, leadership or research activities that create opportunities for students.
