Cornell President Martha E. Pollack stopped by the Student Assembly meeting in Willard Straight Hall April 20, her fourth day in office, making brief remarks before taking questions for about a half hour on a multitude of topics.

The Presidential Search Committee will hold three open forums April 28: for staff members, noon-1 p.m., Alice Statler Auditorium, Statler Hall; for faculty, 4:45-6 p.m., PepsiCo Auditorium, Stocking Hall; and for students, 4:45-6 p.m., Memorial Room, Willard Straight Hall.
The Sick in America series begins April 20 and will highlight issues of health care from the perspectives of physicians, patients, economists and policymakers.
