A new book by Tom Gilovich, the Irene Blecker Rosenfeld Professor of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences, offers advice on wisdom and insight into people and circumstances affecting them.
The Nov. 28 Red Hot Hockey game at Madison Square Garden featured an on-ice appearance by Cornell President Elizabeth Garrett, an Olympic medalist and a marriage proposal before ending in a 3-3 tie.
Events over the next two weeks include a program by the Cornell Wind Symphony; a performance from Cornell’s Ancient Theater Performance Group; the annual Mini Locally Grown Dance concert; and, of course, a Thanksgiving feast.

Dump and Run program seeks donations of clothing, furniture, nonperishable food and other useful items through June 1. Donations will be resold Aug. 24-25 to benefit local nonprofit organizations.
