Ithaca Police tentatively identify recovered body as that of student Zika

It has been confirmed that the body found in Cayuga Lake April 7 was that of Matthew Zika.
The Ithaca Police Department notified the university April 7 that a body tentatively identified as that of Matthew Zika '11 has been recovered from Cayuga Lake. An autopsy was scheduled for April 8 to confirm the identity.
Zika, a junior in the College of Engineering from West Lafayette, Ind., was observed falling from the Suspension Bridge March 12, and authorities had been unable to locate his body.
