As Akwe:kon residence hall director, Ansley Jemison helps motivate Cornell students. He is also assistant coach for the Iroquois Nationals U19 lacrosse team, which is at the world championships in Finland.

Backpack Program now accepting donations

The Backpack Program for area needy children is accepting donations. Participants are asked buy backpacks and school supplies for children kindergarten-sixth grade and deliver them to 130 Day Hall. (July 17, 2012)

Through simplicity, Nery Trigueros-Gonzalez, Cornell Catering executive chef, earned first place in a regional competition held by a national culinary organization. He competes nationally in July.

Teams lose two-and-a-half tons of weight
