Engineering Day to be held at Pyramid Mall, Feb. 20

Cornell University students will help explain the mysteries of machines ranging from the internal combustion engine to the automatic teller machine at the sixth annual Engineering Day at Pyramid Mall, Lansing, Feb. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event is being held in connection with National Engineers Week, beginning

Feb. 21, and is presented by the Ithaca Sciencenter and Cornell's College of Engineering. Exhibits are prepared and staffed by Cornell engineering students and by employees from local companies, who also will be present to advise on careers in engineering.

The event is sponsored by Borg-Warner Automotive, Inc. and Emerson Power Transmission Corp.
