Cornell Council for the Arts calls for fall 2005 and spring 2006 grant proposals

The Cornell Council for the Arts (CCA) is now accepting grant applications for art projects that engage a distinct audience. Multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary projects are highly encouraged and will receive funding priority. Projects covered may represent collaborative interests among different departments, units or faculty. Grants are made in amounts of $3,000 or less ($1,000 for student organizations), based on artistic merit and potential artistic impact.

Application deadlines for fall 2005 through spring 2006 projects:

  • By Wednesday, Sept. 14: Meet with CCA sponsor and inform CCA office of intention to apply.
  • By Wednesday, Sept. 21: Deliver materials to CCA office.

Departments and programs, individual faculty members, graduate students and graduating seniors are eligible to apply. Non-CCA financial support is required.

The CCA welcomes proposals requesting grants for artists and arts-related projects to be presented on campus or in the Ithaca area. Grants support cultural activities outside the regular academic responsibility of individual departments or units.
