Stephan E. Lauzier is named director of Cornell Real Estate

Stephan E. Lauzier, who is in charge of real estate development for the sprawling, 1,450-acre California State Polytechnic University-Pomona campus, has been named director of Cornell Real Estate. He will begin his duties Nov. 5.

Lauzier succeeds interim director Thomas LiVigne, who took over April 2 after former director John Majeroni left Cornell for Georgia Institute of Technology in March.

As director of Cornell Real Estate, Lauzier will play a leadership role in the development and execution of strategic initiatives for Cornell's off-campus real estate, including future development of the Cornell Business and Technology Park.

Lauzier currently is director of research park and real estate development for the Cal Poly Pomona Foundation Inc., a nonprofit service auxiliary for California State Polytechnic University. At Cal Poly, Lauzier is responsible for establishing a new department to manage non-academic real estate at the university.

Lauzier earned a bachelor's degree from Regis College.
