Recycle your electronics during spring break

The Cornell Recycle Center will accept home and office electronic items to recycle, March 18-22, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. as part of Recyclemania.

Electronic items to recycle at this event include: computers, TVs, microwaves, telephones, cables, extension cords, power strips, printers, monitors, answering machines, fax machines, typewriters, pagers, cameras, VCR/DVD players, CDs, remote controls, stereo/tape/record/8 track tape players. All items collected will be destroyed and materials recycled. All hard drives will be shredded by the vendor.

If you are recycling electronics from your office or workspace, contact your IT support or building coordinator in advance to make sure you follow the disposal procedures applicable to your area.

The Cornell Recycle Center is located at 251 Solidago Road. (Take Palm Road from Route 366 and follow the signs for CU Recycle Center).
