Cornell Chronicle launches website redesign

Welcome to the new Cornell Chronicle website. We have redesigned the site to showcase the extraordinary depth and breath of Cornell’s missions of research, teaching and engagement.

The new look allows you to navigate to particular categories of interest or simply browse the latest news. New functionality includes the ability to create personalized RSS feeds and bookmark stories to read later.

Among our favorite features:

  • an interactive carousel on the home page where you can click through the past week's stories;
  • a Trending section for Editor's Picks and popular stories;
  • multimedia section that toggles between CornellCast video and the Picture Cornell slide show;
  • Sound Off, featuring Cornellians commenting on current events;
  • landing pages that categorize stories, and a feature that allows you to put the categories in the order you'd like to see them;
  • an archive page that lets you slice and dice content by college, category, topic and region;
  • a print function that allows you to toggle images on and off; and
  • responsive design for easy access on mobile devices.

Our Web editor, Bonnie Sellers, has produced a video tour of the site, demonstrating some of the new features.

Please send feedback about the site to cunews@cornell.edu.
