90th Hotel Ezra Cornell set for March 19-22

Hotel Ezra Cornell (HEC), the annual weekend-long educational conference, will be held on campus March 19-22.

The theme for the 90th Annual Hotel Ezra Cornell, “... and the rest is history!” pays homage to the rich narrative that has led the university to the modern day.

“We chose ‘... and the rest is history!’ to commemorate both our own 90th anniversary and the anniversary of Cornell University,” said Tess Williams ’15, HEC managing director. “While it’s a simple phrase, it really captures what we’re trying to accomplish over the weekend: celebrating the past and toasting to the future. To me, the theme means that we’re connected with 90 years of an organization that forever changed the hospitality industry.”

A tradition at the School of Hotel Administration (SHA), the conference is led by students for hospitality industry leaders. It comprises educational seminars, leisure activities, and food and beverage events, and enables SHA students to practice classroom skills and showcase their talents to industry professionals.
