Employee Celebration is Oct. 7; tickets on sale through Sept. 29

Tickets are on sale through Sept. 29 for Cornell’s Fall Employee Celebration for staff, faculty, retirees and their families, to be held Oct. 7, when Cornell Big Red football will square off against Harvard University at 1:30 p.m.

Discounted tickets are $5 per person and include the football game at Schoellkopf Field, followed by the Cornell Community Dinner in Barton Hall, 3:30-5:30 p.m. The dinner, prepared by Cornell Catering, will include barbecue chicken and pasta with grilled vegetables and marinara sauce. Vegan and gluten-free options are available.

Tickets can be purchased weekdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Athletic Ticket Office in Bartels Hall or call 255-4247.

Volunteers are needed for the community dinner, for set up (noon-1:30 p.m.), serving (1:15-3:30 p.m.) or cleanup (4:30-5:30 p.m.). Volunteers will receive an Employee Celebration T-shirt and complimentary meal/game ticket for the day’s events. Contact empcelebration@cornell.edu to volunteer.
