Vote your pick for the ‘People’s Choice’

It’s your turn now.

Our judges have narrowed the field from the total 241 photos that were submitted for the 2017 Photo Contest, choosing one best photo for each category.

Cornell employees are invited to vote for their top photo– the “People’s Choice”– out of all first-place winners that the judges have chosen: Adults (“Lady with the Rainbow Wings”), Animals (“Eye Spy”), Cornell (“Through the Looking Glass: A Shelter Medicine Veterinarian at Work”), Humor (“Who Moved My Nest?”), Landscape (“Foggy September Morning on Cayuga”), Nature (“Gone Fishing”), New Entrants (“Fumare”), Special Effects (“Extinction”), Structures/Buildings (“Glowing Cabana”) and Unspecified (“An Unveiled Symphony”).

To vote, click on the photo above to enter the photo gallery, and then click on the arrows to see each photo. Decide on the one photo of the ten shown that you believe deserves to be honored as the “People’s Choice,” and email your choice, by title, to Aggie Binger, akm4@cornell.edu, using your Cornell email address. Note: Only one vote is allowed per person, and only members of the Cornell community with NetIds are allowed to vote.

In the meantime, the judges will choose their top choice. If they differ, both the people’s choice and the judges’ choice will be recognized as the best photo for the 2017 contest. One voting submission per employee. Deadline for voting: Oct. 27.

The people’s choice and grand prize winners will be announced next issue, along with all runners-up and honorable mentions.
