eCornell gets Best in Biz Award for customer satisfaction
By Nancy Doolittle
eCornell has been named "Most Customer-Friendly Company" in the 2011 Best in Biz Awards, receiving the gold for its "demonstrated customer satisfaction and customer support success rates." According to its website, the Best in Biz Awards are the only business awards judged by members of the business and technology press and industry analysts.
eCornell -- a subsidiary of Cornell that provides online professional and executive development around the world -- attributes its high customer-satisfaction ratings to a closed-loop approach to service: eliciting feedback from students, measuring their satisfaction, and responding quickly and effectively. Feedback indicates that nine of 10 eCornell students -- from nearly 200 countries -- would recommend eCornell to friends and colleagues and that eCornell's online instructors received on average a 4.6 out of 5 for overall performance.
eCornell provides online courses in the areas of leadership and management, human resources, financial management, health care, marketing and hospitality management.
