Cornell trustees to meet in Ithaca, March 10-12

The Cornell Board of Trustees will meet on campus in Ithaca, March 10-12.

The full board will meet 9-11:45 a.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, March 12, in the Statler Hotel Amphitheater. The first portion of the morning session will be open to the public. Topics will include reports from President David Skorton, SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher, Student Assembly President Rammy Salem, and Graduate and Professional Student Assembly President Darrick Evensen. The board also will address authorizing to renovate areas of Bradfield Hall to provide surge space required for the renovation of Fernow Hall.

The following board committees will have brief open sessions at their start, Thursday, March 11, all in Statler Hotel:

  • The Audit Committee at 7:30 a.m. in the amphitheater, during which the minutes of the January meeting will be approved.
  • The Buildings and Properties Committee at 9:30 a.m. in the Yale-Princeton Room. The open session will include the approval of January minutes and of project and budget status reports.
  • The Government Relations Committee at 9:30 a.m. in Taylor Room. The open session will involve the approval of minutes from the January meeting and updates and announcements from chairman Robert Katz.

A limited number of tickets for the open session of the full board will be available at the Information and Referral Center in the lobby of Day Hall.
