Unpaving paradise: Students turn parking spot into a park for a day
Students from Cornell's chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects transformed a metered parking space in Collegetown into a miniature park Sept. 25. They spent the day interpreting their annual Park(ing) Day project for passersby, who helped them feed the meter. The global project is intended to promote the need for public green spaces and landscapes in cities.
