Bio-security is topic for Canadian agriculture minister in Nov. 30 speech at Cornell

ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Hon. Lyle Vanclief, Canada's minister of agriculture and agri-food, will present the keynote address, "Agroterrorism and Bio-Security: Implications for U.S.-Canada Cooperation," as part of a daylong meeting at Cornell University on agroterrorism and bioterrorism. His address, on Friday, Nov. 30, from noon to 1:15 p.m. in the College of Veterinary Medicine's James Law Auditorium, is open to the public free of charge.

Admission to other parts of the meeting, which is hosted by the veterinary college for key representatives from state and federal government, the public health sector, food producers and the veterinary profession in the United States and Canada, is by invitation only.
