ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell Police responded to a report of a body discovered on campus in the wooded area at the northeast end of Beebe Lake yesterday (Jan. 28) at approximately 9 p.m..

The person has been identified Timothy Lewis Keery, 45, who resided in the Town of Ithaca. He was not affiliated with Cornell.

The investigation into his death is continuing.

Cornell police were assisted by the Ithaca Police Department, Ithaca Fire Department and Cayuga Heights Fire Department.
