Dyson School is No. 2 undergraduate business program
By Janelle Tauer
Cornell University’s Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management is ranked the No. 2 undergraduate business school in the United States by the website Poets & Quants. The ranking is derived by combining the annual results of the Bloomberg Businessweek and U.S. News and World Report rankings with a university’s overall national ranking.
This composite methodology finds that the Dyson School tied with Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business for the No. 2 spot, behind only the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. Rounding out the top 5 are the University of Virginia (McIntire) and Washington University in St. Louis (Olin).
“This recognition is obviously a testimony not only to the excellence of the students, faculty, staff and programs at Dyson but, equally, of the outstanding university within which we are privileged to reside,” said Christopher Barrett, the David J. Nolan director of the Dyson School.
