The deadline for faculty and staff members to apply for tax-free grants of up to $5,000 to help pay for 2019 child care expenses through Cornell's Child Care Grant Program is Sept. 28.

All faculty and staff eligible to participate in Cornell’s Flexible Spending Dependent Care Account can apply for these grants.

The Child Care Grant Program covers eligible child care, including infant and toddler daycare, pre-school/pre-K programs, school-age summer day camps/programs, and school-age before- and after-school care for children who are legal dependents of faculty or staff members applying for a grant.

Eligibility requirements, the application and a list of documentation needed to accompany the application can be found on the Child Care Grant Program website. Applications and required documentation must be submitted by Sept. 28, at 4:30 p.m., either via Cornell Dropbox; in person at Suite 110, 395 Pine Tree Road, East Hill Office Building; or by U.S. Mail (postmarked by Sept. 28), addressed to: Child Care Grant, Cornell University, Suite 110, 395 Pine Tree Road, Ithaca, NY 14850.
