This year's International Fair will kindle students’ interest in the world on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 11 a.m to 1:30 p.m. on the Uris Hall Terrace. 

For undergraduate and graduate students, the fair provides students with new ways to broaden their educational focus with a lineup of funding and academic opportunities offered on campus and internationally – Global Internships, international majors and minors, language study, study abroad, funding opportunities, Cornell Global Hubs and more.

The Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies is Cornell’s gateway to opportunities like Undergraduate Global Scholars, the Laidlaw Undergraduate Leadership and Research Program, Fulbright programs, graduate travel grants, language study and more. For a deep dive into a specific world region or theme, the Einaudi Center's regional and thematic programs provide community for students looking to get more involved. 

Over 50 languages are taught at Cornell, including rare and distinctive languages like Quechua, Urdu and Burmese. 

Study abroad will be featured at the fair, including Cornell Global Hubs programs and other programs suitable for all majors. Programs may be short term, semester long, or throughout an entire academic year, with opportunities for major-specific courses, field experiences and summer internships.

Applications are currently open for spring semester study abroad. Interested students should explore study abroad programs, talk with an Education Abroad advisor at the fair and complete the application by September 15.

The International Fair is hosted by the Einaudi Center and Office of Global Learning (both part of Global Cornell) and cosponsored by Cornell's Language Resource Center.
