To help put the Ithaca community into the spirit of the season, the Cornell Dairy Bar will spread some holiday cheer with "The Lighting of the Cows" at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Dairy Bar store on Tower Road. Dennis Miller, chair of the food science department at Cornell University, will flip the switch that officially lights the roof-top display featuring four specially made wooden cows pulling Santa Claus in a dairy tanker.
