Beginning Monday, June 12, Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) buses will serve Aldi's Supermarket, the Ithaca Farmers' Market and the Park View Health Care Campus.

Bus route 13 will provide service off of Third Street and Route 13 to Aldi's, Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and to the Ithaca Farmer's Market on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bus Route 31 will now have a stop at the Park View Health Care Campus, behind the Convenient Care Center on Warren Road (near the intersection with Route 13), Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.

Due to extra time available on both routes, these adjustments will not affect current bus schedules, TCAT officials said.

"All three of these changes are in response to numerous requests TCAT received over the past few months," said Nancy Oltz, TCAT's manager of operations and maintenance. "I'm glad we were able to accommodate them. They really enhance the service of these routes."
