A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, at 2 p.m. in Sage Chapel for David Meng, 19, an undergraduate student at Cornell University, who died Dec. 10 in Ithaca.

The Rev. Rick L. Bair, pastor of St. Luke Lutheran Church and minister in Cornell United Religious Work, will preside.

Meng was a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in economics. He was a member of the Pi Delta Psi fraternity at Cornell.

Born and raised in Bayside, Queens, Meng was a 1999 graduate of the Bronx High School of Science, where he was co-captain of the swim team.
