Cornell Police arrest Cortland man in equipment theft

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell University Police, with the assistance of the Cortland Police Department, ended a three-month investigation into stolen computer and audio equipment with the arrest of a Cortland man.

Daniel P. Roberson, 22, of 160-1/2 Central Ave., Cortland, was charged Feb. 3 with one count of grand larceny in the 4th degree, a Class E felony. He is scheduled to appear in Ithaca City Court on Feb. 11 at 9:30 a.m.

Roberson is accused of the theft of $6,100 in equipment from Martha Van Rensselaer Hall last year. The equipment has been recovered.
