Cornell trustees to meet in Ithaca, March 10--12

The Cornell University Board of Trustees will meet in Ithaca, March 10-12.
The full board will have a brief open session beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, March 12, in B09 Sage Hall on the Cornell campus. Topics will include a report from President Jeffrey Lehman; a report on the Student Assembly by its president, junior Nicholas J. Linder; a report on the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly by the assembly's president, Gavin J. Hurley; and approval of construction of the Riley-Robb North Wing renovation.
The following board committees will have open sessions March 10 and March 11:
- The Committee on Land Grant and Statutory College Affairs will hold an open meeting from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Taylor A/B Room. Topics will include the state budget and Lehman's "Call to Engagement."
- The Buildings and Properties Committee will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Yale-Princeton Room of the Statler Hotel. A brief open session at the start of the meeting will include an update on the status of ongoing projects and approval of construction of the Riley-Robb North Wing renovation.
- The Audit Committee will hold a brief open session at the start of its noon meeting Thursday in the Taylor A/B Room.
- The Committee on Academic Affairs and Campus Life will hold a brief open session at the beginning of its meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Taylor A/B Room of the Statler Hotel. Topics will include approval of the minutes of the January meeting and approval to establish a bachelor of science degree program in environmental engineering. A limited number of tickets for the open session of the full board will be available starting at 2 p.m, March 10, at the Information and Referral Center in the lobby of Day Hall.
