Cornell's Africana Studies and Research Center is sponsoring a benefit concert by Sweet Honey In The Rock, the internationally renowned Grammy Award-winning a cappella ensemble. The concert is at Ithaca's Historic State Theatre Sunday, April 17, at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the ticket center (273-4497) in the Clinton House, 108 N. Cayuga St., Ithaca. The concert celebrates the Africana Studies and Research Center's new building and will benefit The Village At Ithaca, a nonprofit, grassroots educational initiative.
