In anticipation of the Thurston Bridge closing, TCAT is adjusting its routes starting Sunday, Feb. 18. Notices have been posted on all bus routes affected. For further information check the TCAT Web site at http://www.tcatbus.com or call 277-RIDE.

The actual closing date will be weather dependent, and an updated notice will be sent when the exact day is known, said Frank Perry, Cornell project manager. When Thurston Bridge does close, Forest Home Drive also will close to all traffic except emergency vehicles and deliveries. University Avenue will be eastbound only past Rand Hall, and East Avenue will be southbound only, south of Clark Hall drive. All vehicle detours will be the same as last year, with traffic using the Stewart Avenue bridge and pedestrians using the Beebe Lake footbridge.
