Nanobiotechnology Center to host eighth annual symposium, Oct. 1

The Cornell Nanobiotechnology Center will hold its eighth annual symposium, Oct. 1, in G10 Biotechnology Building.

The event will showcase the latest advances in research at the interfaces of nanotechnology and the life sciences. It is also an opportunity to meet faculty, researchers, students and industrial partners from the nanobiotechnology community.

Symposium themes will include nanobiotechnology research and economic development, advancing biomedical science, improving medical imaging, diagnostics and therapeutics, and directions for sustainable energy.

The daylong meeting will feature both Cornell and invited speakers, who will address various aspects of nanobiotechnolgy research, and a poster session at the end of the day.
